Service Metal’s in-house quality assurance professionals work closely with our production staff to ensure that every aspect of our operation is held to the highest standards.
In-House Quality Assurance Professionals
As an in-house manufacturing company, we take pride in our ability to oversee every aspect of the manufacturing process via quality assurance. We employ three Quality Assurance Professionals for every 25 members of our Production Staff, which allows us to maintain full control over every department within our facility.
Fully Equipped for Thorough Quality Assurance Programs
Our facility is fully equipped for every aspect of quality assurance, including:
- Full Outfit of Granite Inspection Tables, Calipers, Micrometers, Digital Height Gauges, Calibration Equipment
- Inspection, Measuring and Test Equipment Traceable to National Standards
- 4 Strippit CNC Punch Presses Hold Tolerances of .002-.004 Inch, Calibrated Weekly
- 3 Haas Precision CNC Vertical Mills
Adherence to Military and Industry Standards
We are committed to meeting every industry and military standard, including AMS-STD-1595 and Mil-DTL-5541, for example, which are necessary for certain projects. Additionally, we are able to accommodate RoHS Compliant projects and accommodate all military and federal standards, for such things as FED-STD-595 related to coating colors or MS51835 and NASM8846D covering helicoil installation, among countless others.
ISO Compliant
Furthermore, we are ISO compliant, following the rigorous standards laid out for global quality business practices. Our Quality Manual is available on request, and we have consistently passed all customer audits against it. We also maintain proper traceability and documentation, meaning we are able to provide Certificates of Compliance and Certifications for Materials and Finishes, even to resend long-ago provided documents provided at time of shipment.
