Deburring and Surface Graining
Service Metal Fabricators is a trusted provider of high-quality metal grinding, graining, and other metal finishing. Our craftsmen are known for their exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering the highest-quality finishes for our clients.
High Quality Surface Graining and Deburring
Deburring is a common practice in the metal fabrication industry, and at SMF, we utilize precise deburring equipment to ensure that sharp edges and metal burrs are removed without compromising the dimensional integrity of each part. Our surface graining capabilities are also comprehensive, anchored by skilled operators and two state-of-the-industry wide belt surface finishers (36” and 52” wide). This represents an important process for metal surfaces that remain visible in their end use. Surface graining also creates a surface that promotes paint adherence, ensuring lasting, durable aesthetics of your parts.
Critical Steps Creating Lasting-Quality Parts
Deburring and graining metal parts can be easily overlooked and done poorly. The consequences of poor workmanship in these areas can show up in such issues as: finished parts with sharp edges, burrs, cracking metal at bendlines, poor appearance for uncoated parts, poor paint or powder coat adhesion on coated parts, and more. We take great pride in constantly adapting to industry needs and keeping pace with the most successful companies in the country. Our dedication to innovation and high-quality manufacturing has earned us a reputation for excellence in every process we provide, from deburring and surface graining to intricate CNC forming and punching.
